Save the Pink Bathrooms
The Save The Pink Bathrooms website -- and movement -- grew out of mid century bathroom lovers' concern that original vintage pink bathrooms were being ripped out of post-war American homes way too hastily. But wait! I propose that: To know pink bathrooms is to love them! Pink bathrooms are a wonderful part of our home design heritage. It's gratifying, in fact, that since the launch of this quest in 2009, pink bathrooms have made a real comeback :) Of course, pink bathrooms are emblematic — we love vintage yellow, blue, green, beige, peach, salmon, lavendar and grey bathrooms, too. Spread the word! 2021 Update: After nearly 15 years of blogging about the retro, I stepped back from posting regularly. In 2023 I moved the once stand-alone c.2009 website SaveThePinkBathrooms back to where it all started, RetroRenovation.com. Photo: Keith Talley Photography
